By accessing or using Resumeora, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using the platform. If you do not agree to these terms, do not create an account or use the service.

1. Service Description
Resumeora provides an online resume builder platform that allows registered users to create, customize, save, and export professional resumes. The platform includes resume templates, a live editing interface, PDF and DOCX export, and Pro features including AI tools, ATS score checker, and additional templates.
Free plan: The free plan provides access to 8 templates, unlimited editing, and 3 PDF downloads per month. No credit card is required for the free plan.
Pro plans: Pro plans are paid subscriptions that unlock additional features. Pricing, plan options, and feature details are published at resumeora.com/pricing.
2. Eligibility
By using Resumeora, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 13 years of age, or the minimum digital consent age in your country if higher.
- You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
- You will use the service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- You are not located in a territory subject to applicable trade sanctions or embargoes.
3. Accounts
A Resumeora account is required to access the resume builder, save resumes, and download exports. When creating an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information.
- Keep your account credentials confidential and not share them with others.
- Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Notify us immediately at support@resumeora.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including the usage limits described in Section 4.
4. Account Usage Limits
Personal use policy — please read carefully
Resumeora accounts are for personal use only. Each account may be used to create resumes for a maximum of 3 people. This covers the account holder and up to two other individuals, such as immediate family members. Creating resumes for more than 3 people under a single account is a violation of these Terms.
4.1 Permitted use
- Creating multiple resume versions for yourself (for different roles, industries, or career stages).
- Creating resumes for yourself and up to two other individuals.
- Using Pro features (unlimited downloads, AI tools, additional templates) for the above permitted use.
4.2 Prohibited use
- Creating resumes for more than 3 different individuals under a single account.
- Operating a resume writing, editing, or consulting service using a personal account.
- Creating resumes for clients, employees, students, or any group under a personal account.
- Sharing account credentials with other people to circumvent individual account limits.
- Using automation, scripts, or bots to create resumes at scale.
4.3 Enforcement
Resumeora reserves the right to monitor account usage for compliance with this policy. Accounts found to be in violation of the 3-person limit or any prohibited use described in Section 4.2 will be suspended without prior notice.
Accounts suspended for policy violations are not eligible for refunds of any Pro plan payments made. In cases of repeated or egregious violations, the account will be permanently terminated.
If you are uncertain whether your intended use falls within these limits, contact us before proceeding:support@resumeora.com. We will clarify whether your use case is permitted under a personal account.
5. Custom Multi-Person Plans
If your use case requires creating resumes for more than 3 people — including but not limited to HR departments, placement cells, career coaching services, staffing agencies, educational institutions, or family groups — a custom plan is available.
Custom plans are priced based on the number of individuals and the duration of access required. They are not available for self-service purchase. To enquire:
- Email support@resumeora.com with subject "Custom plan enquiry."
- Include the number of people you need resumes for.
- Describe your use case (organization, family group, coaching service, etc.).
- Include any timeline or specific requirements.
Our support team will respond with pricing options and next steps within 24–48 business hours. Using a personal account for these purposes before receiving approval and setting up a custom plan constitutes a policy violation and may result in account suspension.
6. Subscriptions and Billing
6.1 Trial plan
The 7-day trial (₹95 / $1.20) is a one-time payment for 7 days of Pro access. It does not auto-renew. After 7 days, your account reverts to the free plan automatically.
6.2 Monthly and annual plans
Monthly and annual Pro plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
6.3 Refunds
If you are unsatisfied within 72 hours of a Pro plan purchase, contact support at support@resumeora.com. We will review your request and respond fairly. Refunds are not issued for accounts suspended due to policy violations, or after the 72-hour window has passed.
6.4 Price changes
We may update our pricing from time to time. We will notify active subscribers at least 30 days before a price change takes effect.
7. User Content
Ownership: You retain full ownership of all content you create using Resumeora, including resume text, formatting choices, and exported documents. We do not claim any ownership rights over your resumes.
License to store: By saving content to your account, you grant Resumeora a limited license to store, render, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
Accuracy: You are solely responsible for the accuracy of information in your resume. Resumeora does not verify, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy of any resume content.
8. Acceptable Use
In addition to the account usage limits in Section 4, you agree not to:
- Use Resumeora to create resumes containing illegal, defamatory, or discriminatory content.
- Attempt to access, modify, or damage our systems, servers, or data.
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from Resumeora without written permission.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or copy any part of the platform.
- Circumvent any technical restrictions, rate limits, or download limits.
- Use Resumeora in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
9. Intellectual Property
Resumeora's IP: The Resumeora platform, brand, logo, templates, designs, and software are owned by Resumeora and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
Template license: We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our resume templates for the purpose of creating personal resumes for job applications. You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense our templates.
Feedback: Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide to us may be used by Resumeora to improve the platform without compensation or attribution.
10. Privacy
Your privacy and the handling of your personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using Resumeora, you agree to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Third-Party Services
Resumeora uses third-party services to operate, including Firebase for cloud storage and authentication, and payment processors for billing. Your use of these embedded third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. Resumeora is not responsible for the practices of these third-party providers.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Resumeora disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
No employment guarantee: Resumeora provides tools to help you build a professional resume. We make no guarantee that using the service will result in job interviews, offers, or any specific employment outcome.
No ATS guarantee: While our templates are built to ATS formatting standards, we cannot guarantee that your resume will pass every company's ATS configuration, as individual system settings vary.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Resumeora and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise), even if Resumeora has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Resumeora and its affiliates, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any content you create or submit using the service.
15. Termination
Resumeora may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms — including but not limited to violation of the account usage limits in Section 4. Accounts suspended for policy violations forfeit access to Pro features and are not eligible for refunds.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@resumeora.com. Upon deletion, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Sections 7, 9, 12, 13, 14, and 16 of these Terms survive termination.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when we do. For material changes, we will notify account holders by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of Resumeora after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
