Account Required
To use the resume builder and export features, you must sign in. Email verification may be required.
Local + Cloud Saving
Your resume can be stored locally in your browser and saved to our cloud database linked to your account.

1. Information We Collect
A. Account information
When you sign in, we process information such as your email address, a unique user ID, and email verification status.
B. Resume content and drafts
You may enter personal data in the builder (for example, name, email, phone, work history, education, skills, and other resume sections). Depending on the features you use, this data may be stored locally in your browser and/or stored in our cloud database associated with your account.
C. Export and activity records
When you export (for example, PDF download events or JSON snapshot exports), we may store records such as export time, template used, resume mode, and related metadata. In some cases we may also store an exported snapshot file in cloud storage.
D. Profile information
If you use profile features, you may provide optional profile details (for example, name, website, social links, and other profile fields).
E. Support requests
If you submit feedback or a complaint, we collect your email address, message content, and (if you are signed in) your user ID.
F. Website URL submissions
Some features may allow submitting a website URL. If you submit a URL, we may store the URL and an internal identifier.
2. How We Use Information
- Provide the service: Authenticate you, load and save drafts, render templates, and allow exports.
- Maintain and improve: Diagnose bugs, improve reliability, and understand usage patterns.
- Support: Respond to your requests and feedback.
- Security and abuse prevention: Protect users and the service, and enforce our Terms.
3. Where Data Is Stored
Resumeora uses cloud services (Firebase) to store account-linked data such as profile information, resume drafts, snapshots/exports metadata, and support submissions.
Resumeora may also store certain draft data locally in your browser for convenience. If you clear your browser data, local drafts may be removed.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information with service providers we use to operate Resumeora (for example, cloud hosting and analytics providers) as necessary to provide the service.
We may disclose information if required to do so by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Resumeora and our users.
6. Data Security
We use reasonable security measures designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete certain personal information we hold.
You can also delete locally stored draft data by clearing your browser storage.
8. Children’s Privacy
Resumeora is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
