Terms of Service

By using Resumeora, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 13 years of age (or the age of digital consent in your country);
• You have the full power and authority to enter into this agreement;
• You are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. government embargo; and
• You will comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.

If you are using Resumeora on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

You may need an account to access certain features (including the resume builder and exports). By creating or using an account, you agree that:

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials;
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account;
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account;
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account; and
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

One person per account: Your account is intended for your personal use only. Creating resumes for other people (for example, friends, clients, or multiple individuals) is prohibited and may result in account suspension or termination.

Your Ownership: You retain full ownership of all information, text, documents, and materials you create, upload, or input into Resumeora ("User Content"). We do not claim any ownership rights over your resumes or personal information.

Cloud Storage: Depending on the features you use, your resume content and drafts may be stored locally in your browser and/or stored in our cloud database associated with your account so you can access it across devices.

Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of your User Content. You represent and warrant that your User Content does not violate any third-party rights, including copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights.

You agree not to misuse Resumeora or assist anyone else in doing so. Prohibited activities include:

• Attempting to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt our services or servers;
• Circumventing any technical restrictions, rate limits, or usage controls;
• Scraping, crawling, or harvesting data from Resumeora without our prior written consent;
• Using Resumeora to create resumes containing illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, or discriminatory content;
• Impersonating any person or entity, or falsely stating or misrepresenting your affiliation;
• Using Resumeora to distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code;
• Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of our service; and
• Using Resumeora in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.

Our IP: Resumeora, including but not limited to our website, brand, logo, templates, designs, software, and technology, is owned by Resumeora and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Template License: We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide license to use our resume templates solely for the purpose of creating personal resumes for job applications. You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense our templates.

Feedback: If you provide us with suggestions, feedback, or ideas for improving Resumeora, you grant us the right to use and incorporate such feedback without compensation or restriction.

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policyexplains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using Resumeora, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Key Privacy Points:

• Some features require an account;
• Your resume drafts may be stored locally and/or in the cloud linked to your account;
• We do not sell your personal information;
• We use analytics to improve our service; and
• We comply with applicable data protection laws.

Resumeora may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by us. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites. You acknowledge and agree that Resumeora is not responsible or liable for any damage or loss caused by or in connection with your use of such third-party services.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE".

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Resumeora disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The service will meet your specific requirements;
• The service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free;
• The results obtained from using the service will be accurate or reliable;
• The quality of any products, services, or information obtained through the service will meet your expectations; or
• Any errors in the software will be corrected.

No Guarantee of Employment: Resumeora provides tools to help you create professional resumes. We do not guarantee that you will receive job offers, interviews, or any specific outcomes from using our service.

No ATS Guarantee: While we design our templates to be ATS-friendly and test them with major platforms, we cannot guarantee that your resume will pass every Applicant Tracking System, as each company configures their system differently.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Resumeora, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, or agents be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages;
• Any loss of profits, revenue, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses;
• Any damages resulting from your inability to use or access the service;
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the service; or
• Any unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

This limitation applies whether the alleged liability is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other basis, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damage.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Resumeora and its employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, debts, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from:

• Your use of and access to the service;
• Your violation of any term of these Terms;
• Your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right; or
• Any claim that your User Content caused damage to a third party.

We may terminate or suspend your access to Resumeora immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. If you have an account, you may request deletion of account-linked data (subject to legal requirements). Locally stored resume data on your device remains in your browser until you clear it.

All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use the service.
